You know, even Maxi's very splendid Yamaha electronic keyboard, with it's 500 believable sounds all programed, still just doesn't cut it for me. I think it has 7 or 8 "piano" settings and it still just sounds electronic in a way that a real piano never does. But interestingly enough, the "human voice" is RATHER realistic!

Oh by the way, that is also my gripe about many CD's ... the "orchestra" in the background is electronic!
I think in terms of the piano, the electronic, synthesized sound loses the resonance of the real thing... all those undertones that make a piano keyboard sound so rich.

I've been slaving away in the kitchen for 2 days now getting a head start on Xmas baking. The baking is kind of fun but those dishes! :rolleyes: ....The dog can't keep up!
