I have to say sorry I never posted those pics from my trip to BC. I know I've been gone all summer also, after just disappearing. I had alot of computer problems and it was almost a hastle for me to get on the computer. I found out a couple months ago I had 42 viruses that multiplied everytime I went on the internet. I had no anti-virus for a long time which also helped them out. I didn't forget about this place though! Just going threw to much of a change in my life to come around like I was befor, plus the viruses...
I'll probably be around a lot more often now that it's cold up here in Canada. I plan to hibernate a lot to grinnnn so I forgive you.
I'm going try growing little greens like endive this winter again for my new friend Annabella. She's a lizard I adopted from a friend who went away to school. I uromastyx (spiny tailed lizard) As soon as I get a photo bin set up again I'll post a pic of her that I have on my computer. She's so neat and has alot of personality!
Anyways, it's nice to see the forum again and I'll be back again soon.

Josh!

Hey, I didn't mean to stalk you...just always wondered what happened to you, so I thought I'd track you down and find out!
("Release the hounds!") laugh

When someone who posts here pretty regularly stops, they are missed, whether they know it or not! I liked reading your posts, and wondered how your yard ever turned out.

So nice to hear from you!

Cindy

Welcome back Josh wavey !

Sorry to hear about all the problems. Do you have virus protection now? If not I know of 2 free antivirus programs available, one is put out by a company called Grisoft...its called AVGfree. The other is spybot search and destroy. I use both of them on my system and don't have any problems. I did have Norton but suffered a horrendous crash with it(had to send off my computer for a week frown )

Happy to have you back and I can't wait to see your pics!!!

Hi~ wavey

Another really topnotch free anti-virus program is available from Avast!

Avast! is a leading producer of business anti-virus protection programs, which they rightfully charge high dollars for. But they are also of the opinion, that if everyone had anti-virus software, we could stamp out viruses, so they offer the program free of charge to any non-business use PC user.

I've been using it for a year and it is a sweet program that regularly updates itself.

I also use Spybot and ZoneAlarm firewall systems, both of which are also free and each takes over the sector that the other leaves out, so with both programs you get fairly complete coverage.

Ya, the yard went bad as my dad had no patience and leveled everything I did in one day while I was gone. Even planted grass seed, the only real reason I wanted to change it is because I'm allergic to grass and couldn't cut the lawn. It sounds like my dad is some kind horible person but it was more like temperary insanity frown
No real loss but it was a fun garden while it lasted. I still wonder if it had evolved what he would have done once I got to lazy to moe the clover and bought a goat to keep it trimmed!
Once I get everything set up on my computer I'm going to get up a web site that will have some of my music on it. I think it will take a couple months at least befor I get good at recording and mastering the tracks of the songs but I'll make shure to put crummy demos grinnnn so people can hear while I'm working on making it sound good.
I hope your christmas was great!

Josh...I remember the pictures you posted when you started on your project.
Didn't look like a neighborhood where a goat tied in the front yard would be welcome!

The egyption uromastyx are the most vegetarian type. They also get to be about the size of cat though so they need lots of space. Like a spare room! They are really freindly but a bit skittish while they get used to you, Annabella was probably only like that with me because she lived with some one else for a year and wa kind of depressed when I took her. Also she won't get much bigger then she is now.
They need a 120-140F basking spot, so if you were to get one go to a home improvement store to get heat lights, they won't be so expensive.
Glad I could introduce her!

Nope. She does have an area that she will usually go in so maby she could be. It's not to hard to take care of that. They don't have pee so to speak, it' more of a solid white thing(sorry for the details) their is a liquid some times but hardly anything and the heat dries everyting up usually by the time I find it. I fill the tank with washed play sand and just sive it out every day or "potty" time. Like I said it's usually dry. The just change the sand every couple months. Pretty low maitnence even if they're in a big incloser.
