Do you have enough names? My friend, Jane Satterfield, was diagnosed with unilateral breast cancer to start with, then when she went for reconstruction it was found in the other breast, finally it had spread to the tissue between her breasts and she died.

Sheri,

No, I don't have enough names yet. I will add your friend's name to the list. She will be number 221.

If anyone else has a name that I haven't already gotten, please let me know and I'll put it on the list.

How many more do you need? You know I run the Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer Control Program where I work. I know several women, patients not friends, who either have or have had breast cancer. Several of them have given me permission to give their names for write ups and seminars that I do. I'm sure they would like their name on a quilt.

Let's see....Jiffy and I have both counted multiple times and I think the consensus between both of us was around 950 names and initials. Soo, I need about 700 more. I'm still waiting for my mother in law to get an email out to all of the poeple on her quilting mailing list, so hopefully that will generate some names also. But, yeah, I still need alot of names.

When this quilt is finished, I want to do one for all of the different cancers...with all sorts of colors around a big purple ribbon....but that's only when this quilt is done.
