It's been wierd this winter up here. Rain in january... in Canada!! I had started jogging when it started getting real cold, that way it kept me warm and able to go out insted of sitting inside as I was. I don't work still so I'm just at home either writing or doing nothing, or playing music.
But then it got really warm and rainy and cloudy all the time so once again I was inside.

The sun has been glorious the last few days! I'm glad I can injoy it. It's also gotten cold again but that's ok.

I finnaly got my studio set up and all kinds of other crazy things have been happening.
The craziest being my Dad asked me, (as I still live at home with them) if he built a little cottage on this peice of land that he owns from my grandmoms old cottage, would I go live there?
This to me is crazy! I didn't even know that he owned this peice of land. I don't think he has the means to do this and it was just a kind of half serious reaction to how strongly I want to one day become self sufficient. Since I had first came to this site I have dreamed of being a starving artist with a vegetable garden!

The last two weeks I've just been dreaming about the possibilities of where this could lead. I've been thinking wierd things like maybe I could build my house around a school bus, just keep building extentions... thinking mybe a city bus would be better because it wouldn't rust and it would be lighter and easier to transport their, then thinking well if I could get my hands on a city bus it would probably be one of those old ones that's not much different then a school and so it wouln't matter <img border="0" alt="[perplexed]" title="" src="graemlins/confused.gif" />
I've always known I'm not going to live a normal life but this is just to much. laugh

Despite how crazy I must seem writing all this I'm not taking it too seriously. I feel good wink It's a nice morning, the sun is bright and I'm in a big window were I can see the clear blue sky!
Unfourtunatly my mom still mal-waters her plants every now and then and there's a quite droopy one right in front of me I had to water earlier.

Annabella's doing good(my lizard friend). My friend Nick went to Mexico and latin america to get away for the winter so Annabella has a friend, a big bearded dragon named Zanzibar(sp).
She walked up to him a couple of days ago, he freaked out, opened his beard and she started licking his eyeball and cheak. To this he closed his beard a bit as she walked up on his back and after he turned to her she made a snoodish little sneezing sound and walked away  Poor Zanzibar! I was scared Annabella would smack him with her big dinosaur like tail but she didn't seem threatened by him at all and I think that beard thing is the best he's got so maybe they'll get along.

How are you people doing?

How boring the world would be if everyone led a "normal" life!

Nice to see you!

glad to see you back for starters! there are several posts that have lines in them along the lines of "when apples comes around, he'll know the answer!" so, you have some catching up to do!

as for the sun, i know what you mean... i love the feeling when the glorious sun pokes his nose out after an extended gloomy spell...

confused I'm a source of knowledge?
Neat, I'll go look around. I know about trees to some degree and a bit about house plants but I hope I can help grinnnn

I thought I'd be around more on the forum this winter but I've been buisy.

I'm starting to plan a garden for this summer. It's kind of small but I'm still going to grow some stuff in containers. I just wan't to test what it's like to work the ground, weed and do all the hard work so I know what I'm in for one day. Also so I know the plants I want to grow.
