Do not know if you have a Mothers Day in US?.
Have had a lovely day kissies thumbup angell
Two beautiful bouquet's, from son and daughter, grandchildren even bought me a present, they said l am like a mum to them ters Treasures.
My daughter also sent me a plaque.

Most often when we think of mum.
We think of whats shes given.
The softness of a loving touch.
A gentle guide for living.
A nightly tip toe in the room.
An understanding look.
But sometimes when l think of mum, l think of what she took.
she took a child, and taught it how to live this life with pride.
She took those kindergarten tears, and kept them all inside
She took the hands that longed to hold her child and not let go.
Used them to push her child along the way, to thrive and grow.
Took time to do some other things. like sew and clean and cook.
And never thought to ask for thanks for all the things took.
THANKS MUM.

Know l am a cynic, am always telling my kids, do not buy me flowers on mothers day, as they treble in price, a week before.
They buy me flowers and little presents all year through.
Really do not need a mothering day to show me how much they appreciate me, just another commercial way of making money wavey

Last year my Mother's Day was super...
I got my wee~greenhouse!!!

*I don't really get much of anything for my
B~day or Christmas, or any other holiday..
But my husband has always made sure I've gotten
a very nice Mother's Day Gift...
And I kinda like it when he takes the $$ he
might have spent on another day or two and put
it alllll in one day/gift....

Glad you had a GREAT DAY DOREEN!!

Weezie

The difference between Englands Mothers Day and our Mothers Day has always been confusing to my mom....sometimes she forgets that England MD is earlier than ours, I should call her and remind her....

So glad you had a lovely Mothers Day Doreen.....I'm not yet a mother, but I can honestly tell you that my mother is one of my very best friends.....I don't think that there is anyone that loves you as much and as purely as a mother.....no matter what I've done in life my mom has always been there for me to cheer me up, or cheer me on....

Here's a post to a poem I have online about my mom--I wrote it for her for mothers day several years ago....
