It is amazing how careful they are about choosing something just right for the other kids. I just love it. Lys and Zack already shopped at school where they had a special Christmas shop all set up so I do not get to take them out this year. Mikey and Charlie are too young so the gifts that Patrick picks out will be from him and Charlie and those Jonny gets will be from him and Mikey.

That sounds like my stocking stuffers as well Weezie. They always get a toothbrush and at least a candy candy. Good combo, huh. This year will be crayons and colored pencils and coloring books too.

I buy lot's of stuff at the grocery store... and when we're in the grocery store, I tell the kids, NO, I think maybe Santa or the Easter Bunny will bring it.. and lo and behold, it shows up in the stockings or baskets.. That way, if they're bugging me for stuff in the store, I just say NO and they really think I won't get it for them, and when they get it in the stocking, they never think it's me fillin' the stockings' cause MOM ALWAYS SAYS NOOOOOOOOO! *Wink~wink*
I buy the assorted colors or smells of hair shampoo's for kids, neat band~aids, I even bought my littlest one, his own band~aid box for a $1.oo at Wally~World... and I keep it filled with HIS band~aid's... little one's or cartoon one's.. and if he feels he needs one, he gets one.. and is not riflin' thru my cabinets to find some..he knows right where his are...
I even got my oldest kid can's of gravey.. a certain kind that he always wants, and I am always saying I have to wait until it goes on sale, its' so expensive.. I bought a bunch and I know he'll get a "big kick" out of that..

Dan is out now. His dad came by and had to go to the same places I was going to go. So I gave Dan the list. Will see how much damage control I have to do once he gets home.

I am all done shopping but Dan is out again. Dunno what he wants to get though other than Eggs Benedict fixings for breakfast. He did call to let me know he found a couple of Wiggle's coloring books at the ONE store I did not go to cuz I just knew they would not have them. The kids are way loaded on coloring books now. Should last until Easter when they will get more coloring supplies in their Easter baskets.
