Hi: I received an ornamental pepper plant as a gift this summer. It was just beautiful but it is about time to bring it inside and I was wondering if it would survive? Also, I have a cat, would the plant be toxic to him?

Please help.

Thanks Much B

Can anyone help her? Catlover kit

Hi, the ornamental peppers I have had are annuals. I save the seeds and replant them every year. I don't think your cat will mess with them. They are VERY hot!!. So save the seeds when the pods dry out and replant them. They come up pretty quickly. Good Luck with them~~~~~~~~~ muggs

You may be right about the peppers being poisonous(I don't eat ANY hot stuff) eek . I do replant the seeds though. They are pretty easy for me to grow. I DO hate to get rid of things, especially when they are so easy to propogate!!!! grinnnn
Thanks for the info.
