Okay, so some of you know I have a weird thing with buying Xmas presents early...this year I'm really on the ball.... Heading up to take a picture of them all, you'll die. I went through 5 big rolls of paper so far....and this is all my family and Marks presents...and I'm not even done. And the presents in the picture are only about 70 percent of the ones I have here that are wrapped. I need wrapping paper! I'm totally out! BRB.

Well it was leftovers from last year.....I had Mark buy extra so I could have it for my sickness of early wrapping disorder. Uploading now. BTW, I'm always the first one buying Xmas paper....so the cashiers always tell me!

HI Triss- I was at the Dollar tree yesterday and they had all sorts of Christmas stuff out already... I have all sorts in my basement too- 3 big rubbermaid containers made to hold it- 1 tall and 2 short--- plus a container of just bows and tags.... I hit the after Christmas sales every yr and get it at 75% off... Loz I sure wish I had mine done already but don't know where I would hide them with the houseful I have now anyway..... hmmmm- wonder what I am going to do when it gets closer...beter start thinking about that soon. Nana, YOU'RE right!!!! A few weeks back I was at the dollar tree and they had Xmas stuff out and I was laughing about it, but I bet they have paper! I hide all mine in the spare bedroom closet before they are wrapped....afterwards I don't care...if Athena sees them I just tell her they are to be mailed to Santa.... Well here goes. This is just the ones I've wrapped, and there are lots of smaller ones under the bigger ones. ![[Linked Image]](http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b137/proloz/DSC02094.jpg) Unwrapped still....and there are a lot of clothes under other clothes on the bed. ![[Linked Image]](http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b137/proloz/DSC02097.jpg)

Loz , I am impressed! I wish I had a spare closet.... all mine are packed full now and can't hide them in the kids rooms either- so may have to clean out under my bed - move that stuff and hide it there.... You must have a big family - must take hours to unwrap the stuff you buy for everyone! Nana

Now that is truly incredible, Loz - and I admire you, too! Talk about organization... I worked with a woman for years who also did the same thing. Come the Fall, she was finished Christmas shopping!! Maybe you'll inspire me to do a bit...maybe... ![[Linked Image]](http://members.aol.com/nikkih0123/images/anidogboxsmall.gif)

I just don't like all the strain on my wallet in December, that's why I started shopping a bit early. I started just buying stuff on sale as I found it and putting it back. Best time to buy stuff is after winter when they get rid of the sweaters cheap and stuff. And I'm only 70 percent done my shopping yet. Not including Marks family at all. That spare bedroom is referred to as the present room from about now onwards...

I used to start early Loz. I'd be completely finished by Halloween, but DH said it takes the funout of it. (It's his money-so if he wants to pay full price/so be it).
I still try to have it done in November-if I can get away with it. Mind you we bought for tons of people and kids before but now the family does the 'name pull' thing.
I've started looking for Xmas crafts to do already though.

I've started looking for Xmas crafts to do already though. Tamara, Mark has a huge family and they do a name pull---but the limit is $30 each and we both go in it so there is $60 right there. But we always buy seperate for his mom and dad and nieces and nephews. I usually end up with someones new hubby or wife and have no idea what to get them! I do Xmas crafts too! Each year for Xmas I make my best friends something. Whether it be an ornmanet, or X-stitch, etc...one year I did them each a topiary. They always look forward to that one little homemade craft. Mark has NO interest in Xmas shopping, he's happy I do it! Although he does VERY well picking stuff out for me and usually goes for the day and takes dad with him shopping.
