my dog tries to bury bones around the house and I had taken my starts from the cold window sill for the night and placed them in a corner on the floor he shredded a few trays and buried his bone! there was a bit of damage to about half of the plants but the rest recovered ok....sometimes I hate having a house full of animals!

Me, too...but I couldn't live without them!
...and usually end up laughing at what they did to mess something up...not right after, but after I get over it! laugh
Freckles has destroyed so much by digging and burying. And if you lock him up somewhere you better be prepared to clean up a mess when you get back.. He has torn the insulation off the walls in the garage, torn the tiles off the floor in front of the kitchen door, and even completely destroyed the door panel in the truck that was over $400. to replace.

Man's best friend! wink

Hi Dan,
Try having a 5-pack of dogs. The smallest and youngest is a flea the jack russell, he can't hold his marbles at night.(he sleeps on top of buddy, the golden retrever. He eats all my shoes. Third is Annie, she is half basset and half bloodhound. Fourth is Red, Hazard WalMart had a $50 bounty on his head for taste-testing in the store. Last is 13 year old Moses. He has no teeth and is my shadow. What's a few bones. SusieF

Nice to see you in our Banter hall Dan, how's the blacksmith work? Have you made any trellis's lately? I wish you lived closer, I would love to get some work done. I have a hand forged hook that DH's great grandfather has made. I must clear out the barn this summer and see what else is in there.

I don't have any pets at the moment, we have only the one Betta fish that DD keeps in her room but I hear ya on the dog issue. I have a hard time keeping the neighbours animals out of my yard. How many pets do you have?

Dan,
My mothers' dawgggg is the same wayyyy....

Mother was gone for a month and she was chewing kleenex boxes,
scratching at door frames, pulling out telephone wires, ohhhhhh, geesh...
so much cleaning up after her...

but she does keep my mother happy and loved,
and she's always by her side.. so, I can't complain..
Welllllllllllll, not any more, cause I'm not pickin' it up anymore...
*goodie, goodie, goodie!*
