Portions of this were accepted for publishing this year on Poetry.com, (a little pat on my back...lol) Towering, like the mountains a formidable sight awe-inspiring, unapproachable... Goliath I see, I sense, I am aware a demanding prescence bidding my attention... Irresistible I am drawn to this giant a magnet to steel a river to the sea... Unstoppable Close enough to touch a matter of inches equal to miles... Fearsome And the titan smiles a fear dissolves a friendship sparks... Fearless Gentle like a summers breeze a soft touch a pleasant smile... Enigma He spoke, I listened, I learned a patient listener a teacher... Friend
