.. I do have lots of space but making use of the entire thing is quiet a pain here as its terraced farming so mechanisation of my farm is not possible thus have to rely on farm labor for my operations !!! Anytime any of you do decide to travel to India do let me know and I wud be glad to host you !! Cheers

coming to India would be a big change in weather for us, we have SNOW and the temperature is about -5 during the day and -20 at night, so your offer is very tempting, and a generous offer too... Penny

Great photos Khaadu! I think it was #47 that got a laugh from me. Looked so much like the hills in Southern Calif, (the ones NOT on fire) it was spooky. You have some great sunrise/set shots too. THanks for joining us and welcome!

Hi, Khaadu! Hope you can get some pictures of the birds in your part of the world. India has some BEAUTIFUL birds like the Coppersmith Barbets and some of the Bee Eaters. I also didn't know you grew tomatoes in India! Everybody grows tomatoes in the U.S. (even me).

I too was thinking of giving them a try but just got slightly late and will definitely grow them in 2007 season ... If I get someone travelling from the US in the next few months I still might ask for some pepper seeds ...

Hi Thornius , Tomatoes are grown on a huge scale in India, after all with such a huge population and tomato used in most of our food there is ample demand for it .. As for the birds, I'm pretty clueless though I can get you pics of them woithout knowing which bird it is .. let me know ....

There is such a wide variety of colors, sizes, habits and personalities that once you take the time to "really" notice birds,it can quickly become a favorite pastime
