I love gardening and i have just started to get into it within the last year. I have created the most beautifulness flower beds. Though it seems that i can't get enough of it. Have a problem though, please does anyone have any advise? What do I do with those nasty rabbits? I have tried the have a heart cage, even put down rabbit pellent, and i even shot them with my son's paint ball gun.

flw Hello everyone! My name is Lori and I live on the north shore of Massachusetts. I used to live in New Hampshire where I owned my home and had a beautiful perennial garden as well as many shrubs and bulbs. I recently got divorced and moved to an apartment. I do a lot of container gardening as my space is limited and I am disabled and cannot do a lot of digging or kneeling on the ground! I also have a lot of house plants that I enjoy.

I look forward to meeting all of you and exploring all the information on this forum!

Lori

Welcome Country Gardening Girl

If you find a good solution to the rabbits share it, please. I've used fencing and other nonlethal things - but the rabbits in Nevada - or at least in Pahrump (maybe they've mutated after all - - too darn close to Yucca Mountain) find ways around the wire - under the wire - and through the wire. But that is only a small percentage that do that - - as Weezie said - the wire is probably your best bet - at least it will stop 90% of them - and especially if they have other delectables to eat elsewhere. The rabbits around my place are like "hey - nice sweet juicy flowers, roses, herbs - - or yeucky sagebrush - don't care how - I'm gonna eat good tonight - no sagebrush for me." :p

Good luck on the rabbits and again welcome.
