Triss, I make candy at christmas time. I cheat and buy the solid milk chocolate bunnies after easter really cheap then remelt them in a double boiler and pour into my molds. Never tried the white bunnies, if they melt good you could add food colouring and give it a try also.
It's alot of work making hard candy, kind of a trial and error thing.

Ok that is not too bad on prices then. Oh yes, the chocolate is the way I will go. Do they havfe chocolate in colors like yellow and red? It would be cool to have colorful tulips.

tamara i love making hard tack suckers at christmas  gotta watch the temp though. i burnt one batch one year ewwwwwww!  and ya cant cover up the burnt tast with more flavoring either i tried that...it dont work

I was outside with Brennan...he is killing me.  He's a 7 year old boy and he wants to climb the gravel pile. I'm a 50 year old granny and I don't WANT to climb the gravel pile!

Well Cindy, technically you are a 49 year old Granny who does not wanna climb in the gravel pile. You do not get to claim 50 until tomorrow. I am gonna wait on hard candies when it does not matter so much if I mess it up. Chocolates sound way easier!

Christy, hard tack drives me nuts. I made pulled taffy one year and never again. It took me hours to make and minutes to eat. Cindy, you need a 'Super Granny' suit.
