Hey all

I have a small florist's cyclamen-she's pretty, she's pale pink and I love her! (even though after all my trying she is still going dormant on me smile ) I was wondering if anyone knew how to best grow this plant from seed, not to mention the best way to collect the seeds and all that good stuff??

I was told that cyclamen is a bulb. It doesn't like its crown to get wet. That's about all I know.

I have 2 gorgeous cyclamen plants, one pink and one white. The white one went dormant about a month ago and the pink one just about a week ago.

I was told when they go dormant to take off all of the leaves and flowers and just let it sit around like a pot of dirt until new growth happens. Apparently you can put the container outside in the shade, tipped on its side.

I'm just wondering, has anyone else ever done this?? I am curious to know how long I can expect it to be before I see new leaf growth?

Thanks
