Just curious..I have been wanting a snowball bush (that is the only thing I know them by) and a friend of mine bought in a bouquet to where I work. Is it possible to somehow root and then therefore plant from the flower & stem he cut? My grandmother (she has a green arm, not just thumb..lol) was able to do that...But I need some pointers if it is possible.

I have rooted mine by just cutting the stem on an angle & then sticking it in a pot of water. Here is mine after 2 months....

wow!ive never tried root cuttings in water.ill have to give it a try! ive done stem cuttings get a young shoot, cut just below a node snip the leaves off the bottom half about 3 leaf nodes. put the bottom half in a pot of moist potting mix. cover with a jar & set in a bright place out of direct sun. in about a month they should root. {some people like to use a root hormone powder when stem cutting.ive never tried the powder but i here it works good} o yea this works best if you take the cutting in spring before bloom or after bloom! good luck!
