Tamara and Rue,
I am not too sure about the wild ones being purple, they very well could be in your neck of the woods, I've heard the yellow ones travel the roots of the rail road cars,
Yellow Mullien seeds get caught along the way and travel along side.
I have lived in the area that I live in now, my whole life, and
growing up, I never saw them on the hill, I never saw the yellow's one's personally
growing until I moved down into town (and actually live a hop~skip~and~a~jump from R&R's.) But it was delivered I believe in a load of topsoil...
The other ones, the pale pink one's with violet veins through it,
pale pink verbascum\'s *Mullien* just appeared one day, and I am a great watcher of things, and this
plant caught my eye with the BB~balls
seed pods
growing up the stem, very cute! So I left it!
I don't have any website like the others' do,
I'm a rotten keeper of pictures, no photo album.
I have a ton on my computer/digital, but nothing set up, I keep saying I should, but, something always gets in my way.... I am still thinking about it....
Weezie
There's one more of the
flower with the bubble
seed pods, I'm still looking for a picture of...
