I've just started gardening in pots etc this year. My garden looks fabulous & but i'm not looking forward to a bleak empty winter garden. Any suggestion for winter plants? (live in north of ireland, have a sunny s/e facing back garden)

Hi Caragh,

I'm not sure what the winters are like in northern Ireland but my husband was from Wicklow and apparently the winters there are similar to where we are in Canada, so my suggestion would be winter pansies to add a splash of colour on those dreary, rainy winter days. Ornamental kale also does well in this climate. If I think of any others, will let you know.
