Not for winter..
Mother nature will take care of it for going
to sleep..*should* if it's already
growing..

spring, I load a load of compost all the
way around the drip line...*where when the
plants are at it's tallest, and watered, the water would fall off to the ground..*
They love organics, or humusy soil...
Compost is the only thing I've ever put.
*there may/might be other stuff, I've just never done it...*
After you put the compost on it,
it comes up... don't be afraid if you get
a late frost...it's should be okay.
When using or harvesting your Rhubarb,
NEVER CUT IT, ALWAYS PULL IT OUT,
it should pull out a socket like at the base,
and will pull easily...*at least mine does*
And if you search thru here, in the recipe
section, I think there's a couple of things
that are posted..
I have a recipe for a pie with raspberries,
cause the girl who made it up is allergic to
strawberries and that's a popular additive
with rhubarb....
But remind me to dig it out...
