Just started my newest garden. My father-in-law made me a cedar plater. I hung it on my porch just outside my front door.

And filled with with two kinds of basil (far corners), oregano (far center), dill (near left), lemon thyme (near center), and onion chives (near right).

Everything is looking good after transplant except for the basil. May have been to early to get those ones out but will add more if I need to.

I love it, Triss ! It's so nice ! I'm a basil freakkkkkk !
I planted herbs today too. A big clump of chives, a really pretty plant called Nutmeg Geranium, and English lavendar.

That all sound good. I am, really hoping I can get 3 more of the planters cuz I have space around the porch for that many so I can do more herb plantings. I need way more basil and Dan wants cilantro for the salsa. And whatever other herbs I can find around here.

WOW that is really nice, Triss!
And you can put 3 more of them up - can't wait to see that! It will smell so good there too!

How did you hang it, by the way?

I will take a pic of that tomorrow. It is two L brackets under the planter and attached to the fencing of the porch.

Your herbs look great and so do the planter. Good luck with that basil.

Thanks. Most of the basil kicked the bucket but I am going to replace it soon! The plants were just too young to go out there. My mistake on that one!
