I have a couple Epis, Njoynit.

Cricket\'s Epi

I use a high phosphorous fertilizer. Haven't heard of using beer as a fertilizer.

Its under overhaul BUT if you click Dons e mail.they will mail you a paper catalog. Is a $27 min order($20 product/$7 shipping) cuttings are $3& $5 they are "4-8 long they carry over 500 varieties. They have online only specials too.I just gotta narrow my ones circled lala

When I mixed mine up.I did a partial can(I had found the one I had lost the day before)some honey, epson salt& fish emolsion& that was mixed in Nov/dec.I used that jug to water them& my crown of thorns in cold GH.I think I finished it off 2 weeks ago.

Jerry Baker has a similar "brew" for foliage.
1 can beer
1/2 c fish fertilizer
1/2 c amonia
1/4 c blackstrap molasses
1/4 c tea granuals
mix in 20 gallon hose sprayer

Also a similar one for flowering plants
1 can beer
1 c amonia
1/2 c dish soap
1/2 c liquid lawn food
1/2 c molasses or corn syrup
fill jar hot water add ingrediants hook to 20 gallon hose end sprayer.

I grow mine in hanging baskets.I do plan on eventually growing one in a pot for one of my stands or maybe on a shelf.mine are growing in african vilot mix with some catus mix(had some cacti mix& used african vilot for what was missing)My fertilier is high P also, but I add stuff.I believe my epi was 6.5 PH wise when got that new toy of mine(a 4 way analizer for soil!)
I've had grow lights near them in cold GH & they can go back outside in like 3 weeks hopefully.

When ya'lls epis are outdoors what direction do they get lighting from?mine was east last year morning sun& some hot sun till bout 1(hung under eves)It put out LOTS of growth last year.I had use to keep it shaded till found an epi forum.I'll have to get a shot of it.I'm trying to get more foliage on the other side.(partially why used the grow lights, besides GH is not as bright in this spot)I have keept it dryier this winter, but have started fertilizeing& otherwise is watered with water from minnow pond on porch(We fish.this keeps um closer.my garden iris pond the minnow tank)

I didn't pay THAT close to attention in chemistry class(was a cute boy nearby)
I don't do ammonia cause of asthma.thats one of them top 5s that will leave me gasping.I let hubby do the yard once(for skeeters)but I stayed indoors for that day I think the lemon one maybe lower in content.

I've locked myself out of my fertilizer chart. It would have helped me alot.
