I have little whiteflowers on my spider plant? I have never heard of spider plants flowering. Is something that happens all the time?

I believe that that is a normal phenomina. I have read and seen that they flower right before they send out spiderettes. I'm waiting for mine to!

Yep, that's normal. Means they're happy! The flowers will turn into smaller plants at the ends of the stems too. You can leave them on or snip them off and plant them.
