Please, someone smarter than me please clarify for me once and for all about pet poop. I mean specifically cat and dog poop. Can you and should you use their poop in a compost pile that contains thousands of worms? Why or why not? I hear conflicting things and am confused on this. Thanks in advance!

You really could put anything you want in a compost pile, but dog and cat feces and even human's is not advisable because of the possibilty of harmful bacteria and other disease being spread. No meat-eater poop basically.

Thank you! That makes it much more clear, no meat-eater poop. Cows, Goats, Bats, Horses are not meat-eaters and the industry uses their poop. Never do hear of bear, mountain lion or wolf poop being used. Guess it'd be hard to get their poop away from them. Great answer, thanks!
