HarleyGal Member Joined: Apr 2004 Caswell County North Carolina	Chocolate Cherry Cake 1 devil's food cake mix 3 eggs 1 can cherry pie filling Mix by hand, dry cake mix and eggs until blended. Stir in cherry pie filling. Bake in greased 9 X 13 pan at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, or until center springs back when lightly touched. May serve plain or top with Cool Whip. (can you tell I like Cool Whip?!) This is so easy and yummy! It's a great recipe for kids to make!

I do something similar, I make the dark chocolate cake with a dark fudge frosting.. and then I put the can of canned cherries on top of the frosting/cake... Shanebear, I am a choco~holic and dark chocolate is my first love...
