Okay, I wanted simple square or cylindrical planters to go with our cheapo 1970s retro-chic townhouse. The ones I liked were $250. Ouch.

So I am thinking of pouring my own cement planters. Has anyone done this? I found instructions on the web, but ... is it as easy as it sounds? Or... not?

The hardest part is building the mold. And you need to try to get the air bubbles out of the concrete.

It shouldn't be to hard.

I poured a small pad to set my windmill on and left the center open for flowers.
