plants 'n pots Member Joined: Nov 2003 Rockland County, NY	Has anyone overwintered a cigar plant indoors? It's scientific name is Cuphea ignea. I have been trying to grow this plant allllllll summer - despite the numerous times the deer have made dinner out of it!!! It's pretty cropped right now, which is fine for bringing it indoors - just wondered if anyone has ever been successful in doing so? Here's a link to what it is... cigar plant
