Okay, I can't lie, most of those still need to ripen a little more...my camera sure makes 'em look red! It's sure great having all we can eat lately, though. You northerners can rub it in later, when you're still eating tomatoes and my plants have burned to a crisp.

If you've had the pastel green, you probably have the same hens as ours. They're called Aracona, i'm not sure if that's the right spelling. Sometimes our eggs are pale green instead of blue. These are the only chickens i know of that lay blue or green eggs, and I've heard them called "Easter egg" chickens. We also have Rhode Island Reds, and their eggs are white. We've got 4 extra roosters right now that I'd love to eat, but I haven't gotten up the courage to try plucking 'em!

Biscuits and gravy sounds great. Haven't had that in a while. I've planted about 20 peach trees in the last few years, and a late freeze zapped the blossoms. Not one peach from my trees this year!

I don't know why I have stopped getting fruit like this. Used to do it all the time and will go back to it now that I have rediscovered that there is more fruit out there than apples, oranges and bananas.
