Hey everyone! wavey

Two days ago, I went to a horticulture centre and had a look at many flowers. As usual, I couldn't resist the temptation to photograph them. perpl And now, I simply want to know what their names are. I've found out the names for a few of them (picture 4 and 5).

Here's the link:

Oh, by the way, at the end of my trip, I bought a flower (photo #21). The vendor told me that it was a lily. Hm.. But what lily is it? Could it be Rain lily? Or am I mistaken? Duh

#15 is without a doubt Morning Glory, right? Does anyone know of its specific genus and species?

My guess, #15 is a species of the genus Ipomoea. But, there are two species that have similar looks to the one in my picture: Ipomoea purpurea and Ipomoea tricolor. Hm... Which one is it?

12 looks like a clover bloom to me, but then again, they wouldn't sell clover at a flower show...or would they?
9 might be a canna of some sort?
10 might be a trumpet vine or honeysuckle
16 looks like a zinnia to me
19 might be a lily
8 looks awfully familiar maybe acandy lily or blueberry lily?

11. (?) the flower reminds me of Calliandra haematocephala,
but the foliage doesn't seem right (?)
12. Gomphrena globosa
Common Name: "Globe Amaranth"
Family: Amaranthaceae (amaranth Family)
13. (?) my guess would be a Magnolia hybrid(possibly one called "Honey Liz") (?)
14. (?) sorta looks like a Purslane to me (?)
15. Ipomoea (possibly a hybrid)
Common Name: "Morning Glory"
Family: Convolvulaceae (morning glory Family)
16. Tithonia rotundiflora
Common Name: "Mexican Sunflower"
Family: Asteraceae/Compositae (aster/daisy Family)

14 were the leaves kind of fuzzy? if so, it's probably an azalea.
15 a brug or datura? not sure
18 kind of looks like a dianthus
19 looks like an asiatic lily to me
21 some kind of lily

Yup, #12 isn't a clover blossom. I don't think here, in Brunei, we have clovers. But, I wish we had. I'd like to see this beautiful plant. smile

I don't think so that #6 is an Orchid, cos its leaves are different from Orchid's. I've replaced the previous photo with one which is zoomed out. At the bottom of the photo I believe, are the leaves.
