patches1414 Member Joined: Feb 2006 Illinois	I posted one of my Clematis in another forum and people are asking what kind it is. This was the first Clematis I ever bought and I really wasn't concerned about the name at that time, so I don't know what to tell them. I have it planted where it gets full sun. Can anyone help me here?

Anonymous Unregistered A	thought i'd mentioned earlier that it was a nelly moser? patches, yours is an excellent example of just how beautiful the nelly can be!! the colors of the blooms are so vibrant! you've got to tell me what you're doing so that i can duplicate it here with mine!!

My Clematis had two blooms so far this year (2nd yr plant bought at Wal-Mart) and doesn't appear to be preparing for any further blooms. IS there something I need to do to get it to produce more blooms?? It is in part shade--mornging sun, afternoon shade here is hot sunny SC! Thanks! Bonnie

Anonymous Unregistered A	bonnie, which variety is it? some bloom on old wood and some on new, so it's important to know which kind you have! also, some take a full year to establish a good root system - and you won't see too many (if any) blooms until the root system is established.

Anonymous Unregistered A	better roots as well as you've got the plant in the correct spot sun-wise and you're protecting the roots by keeping them cool!! post some pics, if you can, wrennie!!
