spook46350 Junior Member S Joined: Aug 2005 La Porte, IN	I was told it was...but I was also told it wouldn't flower. Look at it now! It was mixed in with a bunch of perennials at Lowe's, but I don't see too many of these around in northern Indiana. I've been looking for some more all over the place...no luck. The leaves have been consistently green and burgundy all season and it has grown like a weed. Is this going to survive a long, cold Indiana winter? Would it survive in TN, cause I may transplant it there if it will live?

RugbyHukr Member R Joined: Apr 2005 SoCal via WV	Looks like a chinese hibiscus. I am not sure if they are cold hardy. If in doubt, shelter it in your garage.

mrsmessy Member Joined: Jul 2005 Georgia	They grow all over the place in GA so it would probably do fine in TN if you could visit it often. They are beautiful and very large - over 10 feet and full.
