I do it all the time. Especially with my bigger house plants, it would take forever to try and wipe their leaves off. I also put them outside when we get a light rain. perpl

I have used the shower for a few plants like a boston fern and coupl palms, the forced heat sure can throw the dust around!
In warmer weather, I will take many other plants outdoors and spray them with the garden hose leaving them outside until they have dried (shaded area)

Yep, always clean the new plants. I just bought a philodendron Duh not sure what kind, the leaves were REALLY spotted though, so it received a nice bath at the kitchen sink.

I do not use the shower but will spray then down real good in the tub with the basic spray bottle - the tub doubles as a hospital and I flush the soil when it looks salty.

I had a hanging plant living in one end of my shower!! I loved it there, and so did it. It got light from a high window and lots of misty spray.

I would stand there taking my shower and talk to it or sing to it!!!

I wipe mine down in the winter, but I'm weird and like the tediousness of it...it's sort of relaxing to me. thumbup

If I had plants in the bathroom they'd be gettiing serendaded by me a lot. I have a CD shower radio. thumbup

Cool Loz!!! thumbup I'd like one of those; I'd be singing along with it though. That would be good even relaxing in a bubble bath!!

I am going to be putting more plants in my bathroom cause they like it!!!!
I think I'm kind of hi-jacking Angie's thread. Sorry Ang shocked

I'm known to set a bunch of plants in the shower and give them a shower.more so in winter than summer. My shower is nice...a plants luxery. It has 2 seats....plus we have a hand held showerhead and some kind of sunflower type on on the ceiling.BIL was not intrested in showring with the plants.I was asked to remove them...and as to WHY they we're there. He just didn't get it....but says his plants look good that I have amoung mine now.
I have plants IN the bathroom too.
Here's christmas

But they'll go back out in about a month for good.I may keep the huge pythos...solid green where its at.It's BIL but I really like it.I've started one from his.I have the golden and a whiteish cream one.My bathrooms not real warm.It gets western light.I just stored some here this winter, cause I filled the laundry room.My ferns on the porch used as cold GH.Its happy.I need to up-pot it.

Just to let the plants-in-the-shower folks know......I found a decorative flowerpot cover online that apparently is made from swimsuit material which means it should stand up well to the elements, including the shower. It comes in different colors and prints so it now your hanging flowerpot can be made to match the decor of your bathroom. I just ordered one and will let you know how it works when I get it.
